Floorwork Hour

Wednesdays 6-7pm (term time)
£5 drop in (cash) – £60 full term

Open to all levels, this class draws from principles of D. Zambrano’s Flying Low and Release technique. Classes are highly physical and focus on the dancer’s relationship with the floor, breath, music and the space. We will be working progressively with short and long phrases building up the pace and energy, strengthening and softening the body, developing awareness and endurance. We will aim to dance fully in the moment with attention to detail and technical literacy.



About Chloe:
London based choreographer hailing from Greece Chloe makes work for the stage, site specific contexts, movement directs in theatre and visual art performance. Having trained as a dancer at the Athens State School of Dance and Trinity Laban, her work has been supported by ACE and performed in the UK and beyond. As facilitator she has worked with adults and children through contemporary dance and creative workshops through Blue Elephant Theatre, Upstage Productions, Chisenhale Dance Space among others. She currently teaches for Royal Academy’s Step Into Dance programme alongside her own practice. She recently trained in Flying Low with David Zambrano and Vangelis Legakis at the first Integro Dance Beyond programme and is interested in constantly informing her practice and approach to movement. Chloe is an artist member at Chisenhale Dance Space.
