I am a Japanese mum and lead member of a mixed race, cultural band called kanako and the Numbskulls. We currently regularly appear at the Vibe Bar in Brick Lane, but are looking for events to perform at for 2007. Our music has afro + japanese elements, fused with folky, yet comical lyrics that create a unique performance. We have been well received by many local audiences in Tower Hamlets and would be suitable for either family or adult audiences.
